God can control 'everything. We would be puppets. Most people go through life like pinballs, reacting predictably to the stimuli of life. They accept the path they find themselves on and perform accordingly. But every once in a while someone comes along who refuses to be bound by his fate, someone who understands that FreeWill is a gift most people are too afraid to use.
Arguably random events in our life can hardly be always chances, but if we go through what most philosophers and scientist claims that, “Everything that happens is followed by something else which depends on it by causal necessity. Likewise, everything that happens is preceded by something with which it is causally connected. For nothing exists or has come into being in the cosmos without a cause. The universe will be disrupted and disintegrate into pieces and cease to be a unity functioning as a single system, if any uncaused movement is introduced into it." free will does not exist.
When we encounter a situation under constraints we tend to develop different actions in our brain and then choose one of them to act. Our choices are already expected or determined within the universe, as we are developing actions with respect to constraints and situations. Can we really afford to ignore the constraints? No we can’t it’s too risky/scary to do that or is it that some people do it. Different theories have stated different ideas of free will, when I hear a person stating that he/she is of certain age and now he/she should get married. I see lack of free will. Someone looses love and stop to smile, for them the whole world has fallen apart; I see lack of free will. Each one of us does that. We cannot marry a person of different religion, lack of free will. Politicians are disgusting, but I voted for the one who is the least, lack of free will. Is it through history that mankind’s ability to determine right and wrong been questioned and we have been controlled by the books of religion and sects.
We never realized the power of free will. Practicing free will does not mean being rebellious, it just means to act according to your conviction and principles. It means building a path for them. If we want to be happy the answers to that question is within us. Are we too scared to do that or we are incapable, It’s a question for which most of the mankind will continue to pay their price.
